Reusable Cutlery

It's been a bit since I posted anything, and well, that's because we've been busy with Reuse First and general life things. We took a trip to the thrift store today and are going to contemplate finding cutlery for the wedding from the thrift store. We figure instead of spending money on disposable stuff, it might make sense to spend a little more and get actual cutlery that could be packed up after the wedding, washed and donated back. Of course, we have to weigh the pricing differences and the difficulty of providing for up to 300 people. Our goal is to be as kind to the environment as possible!

  1. You can have my silverware when I hopefully go teach English abroad! There's not very much of it but it would be free and clean.

  2. Good idea, although I have no idea how much thrift store silverware costs. Maybe it would be too much to ask guests to bring as much of their own supplies as possible, but I personally wouldn't mind... :)
